I designed digital invites to look like a PDF packet of "Wedding Plans" for the production of "My Favorite Color is You".
The ceremony program was modeled to look like a Broadway playbill complete with parody ads that related to parts of our relationship.
I painted each bridesmaid a "bouquet" which they carried down the aisle with a handle on the back and got to keep as a gift. The groomsmen had tiny prints of the paintings in their pockets.
I made this bouquet with a paintbrush base and a mixture of dried and faux flowers. After we kissed in the ceremony, I grabbed the bouquet and turned on the red LED lights as the guests gasped!
3 weeks before the wedding we learned a choreographed dance that started with a waltz and transitioned into an EDM-style song from our favorite musical as we turned on our LED shoelaces.
Each guest's paint-chip-seating-card facilitated a cocktail hour convo with someone they didn't know by directing them to "find so and so and ask them such and such".
