why beans?
Well, our design skill sets come in a vast variety of sizes, shapes, colors and purposes.
We’re energized like coffee beans, fulfilling like kidney beans, and colorful like jellybeans.

who's lauren?
With a 15+ year history of creative directing and designing museum exhibitions, brand activations, play spaces and holiday decor around the world, Lauren Katz (soon to be Mylrea) brings to the table a rare ability to use both sides of her brain: the imaginative right and logical left. This allows Lauren to connect the dots between visionary clients, practical producers and creative artists, bringing innovative projects to life on time, in budget and looking fabulous! Since graduating from Syracuse’s Visual Communications program, Lauren spent 10 years as a Designer for GES, then went on to lead the creative team at A3 Visual and quickly transitioned to freelance. She co-founded the former play space company, Agency808, and developed the Crayola IDEAworks exhibition before branching out on her own to start Beans Creative. In her free time, Lauren loves making art, cooking vegan delights, singing musicals, playing board games, watching magic and traveling the world. She eats at least 1 serving of beans a day, occasionally drinks coffee (but only decaf beans!), and her favorite Jelly Belly flavor is Juicy Pear. What’s yours? |
